All our scented candles are inspired by the Scottish Highlands. They are meticulously crafted in small batches by the shores of Kentra Bay, situated on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Our main objective is to produce a high-quality artisan product that not only provides joy but also minimises its environmental impact. We firmly believe that it is crucial to strike a balance between enjoying our products and preserving the planet for future generations. This commitment to sustainability is reflected in our candles.
Our candles are meticulously crafted with this in mind, ensuring that they are fully vegan and cruelty-free. We refrain from using plastic and exclusively use 100% sustainable soy wax. The fragrances and essential oils used are of the utmost quality. Additionally, the wicks are made from cotton and paper, while the tins are crafted from tin plate, making them highly recyclable or reusable. We offer a discount to encourage the return of used tins, further emphasising our commitment to environmental responsibility

Candle Care
All of our candles are carefully crafted to ensure you get the best from them but here's a few tips to ensure the perfect burn:
Ensure the candle wick is trimmed to 5mm before lighting each time.
Allow candle to burn 2-3 hours until the wax is molten to the edge of the tin. This will ensure an even melt and last longer
Do not burn candle for longer than 4 hours
Make sure you clear the wax of any debris before re-lighting
Always keep your candle on a heat-resistant and level surface
Do not leave a lit candle unattended, within a draught or close to soft furnishings
Keep children and pets away from candles
Leave the candle to rest before re-lighting
Do not try to move it as the tin and the wax will still be very hot.

Like all the other candles I’ve brought from here this smells absolutely gorgeous. My friend loves it. I brought it as a Christmas present and I’d highly recommend this and all the other candles. If you’ve not tried them before give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
I encountered these candles in a wee shop during my travelling to Skye this summer, and I couldn't forget how nice they smell ever since. I am surprised to find them available online! I got "After the Storm" and "Forest Trail", both have very comforting scents.
Their service was 10/10, too, very hospitable and thoughtful.

I bought the Foragers Delight for my daughter who is a forager. I hadn’t smelt it but I always buy these candles whenever we visit Ardnamurchan from Yorkshire, at least once a year. We both absolutely loved the smell. The names given to these candles definitely fit with their smells. If you’ve not tried these candles then I highly recommend you do, you will not be disappointed. They also tick all the boxes for me as a conscious vegan with the conservation of our planet and wildlife as a high priority.
I love these Ardnamurchan candles. They’re ethically, hand made and smell absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t make the shop this year. I live in Yorkshire so I’m really glad I could get them online and not miss out on my favourite candles. If you’ve not tried them I can highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed.

Although I haven't burned Courie yet, love the scent just opening the lid. I have burned "Wee Dram" and "Forager's Delight" so far and will definitely be getting more once the last three I've ordered have been enjoyed!
